Abstract:
The present invention relates to a microwave tube with n longitudinal electron beams (2) parallel to an axis XX' (n an integer greater than one). It includes at least one outlet cavity (40) crossed by the n electron beams (2) and a collector (4) gathering the n electron beams (2) at their outlet from the cavity (40). A transmission line (6) is coupled to the outlet cavity (40). The transmission line (6) is coaxial with the axis XX'. The collector (4) is arranged around the transmission line (6) and is coaxial with it. Application to multiple-beam klystrons able to function at high power and at high frequency.
