Title:
TWO-DIMENSION ARRAY ULTRASONIC WAVE PROBE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0723500
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the 2-dimension array ultrasonic wave probe offering simple manufacture in which positioning when a piezoelectric vibrator is cut off into a shape of matrix is facilitated.

CONSTITUTION: The probe is provided with a piezoelectric vibrator array 10 comprising a piezoelectric body layer 11, 1st and 2nd electrodes 12, 13 formed to both sides and in which the piezoelectric body layer and the 1st electrode at least are divided in matrix by plural split grooves 22, and with a printed circuit board 14 comprising a rigid section 15 and a flexible section 16 in which the piezoelectric vibrator array 10 is supported by the rigid section 15 and having a leadout wiring pattern 17 connecting electrically to the 1st electrode and in which a split groove 22 and a continuous cut groove 23 are formed on the way of the rigid display section 15 in the broadwise direction.
