Title:
PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL HAVING TRANSPARENT MAGNETIC RECORDING LAYER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0777758
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the photographic sensitive material prevented from diffusion of light due to magnetic particles primarily and highly dispersed into the recording layer and from dropout of these particles, and enhanced in sharpness of a photographic image and in film strength, and small in error at the time of magnetic input and magnetic output by incorporating at least one kind of a pigment or dye in the magnetic recording layer.

CONSTITUTION: The photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on one side of a support and the transparent magnetic recording layer on the other side, and at least one kind of a pigment or dye is contained in the recording layer. This photographic sensitive material is a negative type. The magnetic particles are dispersed into the recording layer in the presence of the pigment or the dye and a binder. It is preferred that the magnetic particles ferromagnetic iron oxide or ferromagnetic iron oxide doped with Co containing ≥0.05mol Fe2+ per mol Fe3+.
