PURPOSE: To adsorb and remove foreign materials and thereby to enable stable operation of a refrigerating cycle for a long period by constructing integrally a baked material of which the main constituent is activated carbon and a baked material of which the main constituents are activated alumina and synthetic zeolite.
CONSTITUTION: A structure body 2 which is prepared by sintering activated carbon by using an appropriate binder and of which the gas permeation resistance is small and a structure body 3 which is prepared by sintering a mixture of activated alumina and synthetic zeolite by using an appropriate binder and of which the gas permeation resistance is small are combined with each other properly and they are provided in a refrigerating cycle by using components such as steel cases 4 and 5. As the result, contamination constituents produced from friction and abrasion of sliding components at the time of the use of a lubricating oil of ester series in a refrigerating cycle can be reduced.
