Title:
HIGH STRENGTH COPPER-BASE SINTERED BEARING HAVING HIGH OIL CONTENT AND SHOWING SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE IN HIGH LOAD REGION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5819413
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a high strength copper-base sintered bearing having a high oil content and showing superior performance n a high load region by adding a specified amount of Fe to a Cu-Sn-P material.

CONSTITUTION: A high strength copper-base sintered bearing material having a high oil content is composed of 4W11wt% Sn, 0.2W1.0% P, 5W20% Fe and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. To the composition may be added 1W10% of ≥1 kind of lubricating components such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide or Pb. By the composition, hard Fe particles in a bearing prevent the plastic flow of the sliding surface, and superior bearing performance is shown in a high load region.
