PURPOSE: To provide a simulation system for image forming device in which the operation is simplified.
CONSTITUTION: A simulation system for image forming device is formed of a copying machine body 9, an operation part 10, an image processing unit IPU, and a work station WS. The operation part 10 has a CPU capable of conducting the control related to the image formation of the copying machine body 9 on the basis of an input data, and a first memory for storing the simulation data necessary for image formation. The image processing unit IPU has a second memory for storing the same data as the data stored in the first memory, and a CPU. The work station WS can read the data from the second memory. The data communication can be carried out between the work station WS and the image processing unit IPU, and between the image processing unit IPU and the operation part 10, and the set and change of data to the first memory can be controlled on the basis of the instruction generated by the operation of the work station WS.
