Abstract:
To provide a compression ratio continuously variable device in which crank angles respectively between a top dead center and a bottom dead center, and between the bottom dead center and the top dead center are constant over the whole variable range, crank phases of the top dead center and the bottom dead center are not changed, and stroke is an approximate sine curve.SOLUTION: A connecting rod for connecting a piston 11 and a crank shaft 15 is divided into three of a piston rod 12, a crank shaft-side connecting rod 13, and a connection link 17 for oscillatably connecting them, an oscillation shaft 18-1 of an oscillation arm 18 for stroking a connecting rod small end with circular arc shape, is fixed, and position and inclination to a connecting rod small end locus, of a guide 14 stroked straightly or with a radius of curvature near a straight line by a cylindrical rotor provided with cross-head shaft 12-1 connecting a piston rod large end and the connection link at both ends, are two-dimensionally variably controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
