To obtain a new and cheap thermoplastic elastomer composition usable for a non-painted air-bag cover having a spring hardness of 40-98 without requiring a nylon-based net for reinforcing in air-bag covers.
This thermoplastic elastomer composition has, as a main component, an (a) component as an elastomer, having particularly a number-average molecular weight of 70,000 or above among styrene based elastomers known as hydrogenated block copolymers, wherein a (b) component as a paraffinic oil is add-alloyed to improve a flexibility and a moldability, a (c) component as a copolymer of propylene and a 2-8C α-olefin are add-alloyed to improve a developing property at high or low temperature, a scratching resistance and the moldability, and to realize lowering in a unit price of material, and a (d) component as a silicone oil having a viscosity of 50,000 cst or above, improves the scratching resistance, a stickiness and a releasing property in injection- molding.
