Abstract:

To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition for obtaining an elastic blade for developing agent amount regulation which prevents charge up and is flexible without causing a poor image by blending an ethylene-acrylic ester copolymer rubber in a specific proportion with a polyamide elastomer and dispersing the resulting product.

The proportion of (A) a polyamide elastomer to (B) an ethylene- acrylic ester copolymer rubber, i.e., (A)/(B) is 95-15/5-85 wt.%. The component (A) is a block compolymer comprising a hard segment of nylon 6, 66, 11, 12 or the like and a soft segment of a polyether, a polyester, or the like. The proportion of ethylene and an acrylic ester in the component (B) is usually 50-85/50-15 by a mole ratio. As a compatibilizer, an acid modified or an epoxy modified polyolefin may be used. When the component (A) is melted, under a shearing force, the component (B) can be crosslinked in the presence of an organic peroxide.
