Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the oscillator with stable frequency and output level by providing a frequency compensation conversion circuit and a gain compensation control circuit against a temperature change in a voltage controlled oscillator provided with a varactor diode.
CONSTITUTION: An output of a temperature detector 1 is inputted to a 1st digital converter D/D 3 and a 2nd D/D via an A/D converter 2. Frequency temperature compensation data are stored in an address in response to an input in the D/D 3, and output level temperature compensation data are stored in an address in response to the input in the D/D 9. The output of the D/D 3 is inputted to a 1st D/A converter 4, in which the signal is converted into an analog signal. The output is fed to a varactor diode 8 of a voltage controlled oscillator circuit 5 via a resistor 6 to compensate the temperature of the output frequency. Moreover, the output of the D/D 9 is inputted to the 2nd D/A converter 10 and its output is used to vary the gain of a variable gain amplifier 11 to compensate the temperature of the input from the oscillation circuit 5 thereby outputting a signal of a prescribed level.
