Abstract:
To make compatible both the easy assembling of a set of a cage and a plurality of tapered rollers and an inner ring, and the avoidance of the loosening of an inner ring unit which is obtained by assembling the set and the inner ring.SOLUTION: A tapered roller bearing 1 comprises an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, a plurality of tapered rollers 4 rollingly contacting with an inner ring raceway 21 and an outer ring raceway 31, and an annular cage 5A having a plurality of pockets 9 for accommodating the tapered rollers 4. Each of the plurality of pockets 9 has a small-diameter-side side face 6a opposing a small-diameter-side end face 41 of the accommodated tapered roller 4, and a large-diameter-side side face 7a opposing a large-diameter-side end face 42 of the accommodated tapered roller 4. The plurality of pockets 9 include a first pocket 9A with a distance between the small-diameter-side side face 6a and the large-diameter-side side face 7a as a first distance L1, and a second pocket 9B with a distance between the small-diameter-side side face 6a and the large-diameter-side side face 7 as a second distance L2 which is longer than the first distance L1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
