Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension that can freely change cushion strength and vehicle height and can be installed in place of a coil spring of an existing suspension.
SOLUTION: This suspension is provided with an inner expansion member 11 of bellows shape and an outer expansion member 12 of lantern shape. A space between the respective expansion members is made airtight, and pressure regulating means 14-17 are provided for the airtight space. The suspension can thereby change the cushion strength and car height freely. An upper pedestal 10 and a lower pedestal 6 are further provided, and the inner expansion member 11 and outer expansion member 12 are provided between them. These pedestals and expansion members are provided between upper and lower struts 4, 5 so as to be installed in place of the coil spring C of the existing suspension.
