Abstract:
To provide a sealing mechanism in which a shaft exhibits excellent slidability at a slide part and which is excellent in sealability and durability to sliding.SOLUTION: A sealing mechanism (20) according to the present invention includes: a shaft seal (4: for example, a seal material or a cup seal having directionality) which is excellent in slidability but poor in sealability and is arranged on a slide area (11A: for example, an area where a rod 1 including a valve element 2 reciprocates); and a flow path (7) which is formed on the downstream side (the side where hydrogen gas leaking from the cup seal 4 flows: for example, on the external of a shut-off valve 30) of the shaft seal (4) in communication with a storage space (6: for example, a surge tank for the leaked hydrogen gas).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
