To provide a storage container for a metal-containing material which allows the solid metal-containing material to be stored and transported easily while being cut off from the fresh air even if the metal-containing material is not encapsulated in a microcapsule or the like so as to be changed in form.
The storage container for the metal-containing material has the followings (1)-(6): a storage part (6) whose inside is sealed up by closing every opening of the container airtightly. The storage container includes a suspension supply opening (1) which is connected to the storage part (6) and through which a metal-containing material suspension is supplied, a filter (2) which is located inside the storage part (6) and filters the suspension supplied to the storage part (6) to provide a filtered liquid, a pressure opening (3) through which a pressure gas for filtering the suspension is supplied, a filtered liquid discharge opening (4) from which the filtered liquid obtained by filtering the suspensiton through the filter is discharged, an openable/closable metal-containing material supply opening (5) which is connected to the storage part (6) on the opposite side to the filtered liquid discharge opening (4) and can be connected to a reaction container, and the storage part (6) which is enclosed by an outer wall, the filter (2), metal-containing material supply opening (5) and stores the metal-containing material.
