Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam system which has a steam trap provided with a cleaning member for cleaning a discharge port of drain water and achieves energy saving of the entire system while enabling the cleaning member to be automatically driven.SOLUTION: A steam system 1 includes: a heat exchanger 22 in which steam radiates heat to an object to condense; a steam trap 23 which is provided at the downstream of the heat exchanger 22 and has a discharge port 47 of drain water and a cleaning member 56 which moves forward and rearward to the discharge port 47 to remove a foreign object in the discharge port 47. The steam system 1 further includes: an expander 24 into which the drain water discharged from the discharge port 47 of the steam trap 23 flows, the expander 24 expanding the drain water to generate power; and a power generator 28 which is driven by the power generated by the expander 24. The steam system 1 is formed so as to move the cleaning member 56 forward and rearward with electric power generated by the power generator 28.
