Abstract:
To precisely detect a fault of a protection circuit for protecting a device connected to an external power source with a simpler structure when the external power source is reversely connected.SOLUTION: In a reverse connection protection device for interrupting power supply to an electric circuit device 10 when an external power source 20 is reversely connected, a reverse connection protection device state detection circuit 1 which has a field effect transistor 5 arranged in a state where a path between a drain and a source becomes a path connecting a positive electrode power source terminal 11 and a circuit part 8 and a direction from a side of the positive electrode power source terminal 11 toward the circuit part 8 becomes a forward direction of a parasitic diode 52 and detects an operation state of the reverse connection protection device comprises a determination circuit 1 for determining the operation state of the field effect transistor 5 on the basis of voltage between the drain and the source of the field effect transistor 5. The determination circuit 1 comprises a series circuit of a bipolar transistor 2 connected to the side of the positive electrode power source terminal 11 and a current voltage conversion circuit 3 connected to the side of a negative electrode power source terminal 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
