To provide a speaker informing system and a speaker informing method for visually displaying an opposite party connected currently and a current speaker when telephone conversation is performed among more than two parties.

A portable telephone terminal 100 is connected with an exchange 110 for telephone conversation among a plurality of speakers to start simultaneous telephone conversation among other portable telephone terminals and the plurality of speakers. The exchange 110 informs the information of connected portable telephone terminals to respective portable telephone terminals, detects a portable telephone terminal performing telephone conversation currently and informs that information to each portable telephone terminal. The portable telephone terminal 100 displays the information of each portable telephone terminal informed from the exchange 110 at a destination/speaker information display section 103 along with current speaker information informed from the exchange 110. Consequently, the dietination and the current speaker can be displayed when telephone conversation is performed among more than two parties.
