Abstract:
To miniaturize a grain sorting machine in which an optical sorter and a measuring apparatus are unitized.SOLUTION: A sorting machine that is an optical sorting unit having a throw-in port and a chute, includes: an optical sorting unit for optically screening grains into first quality items and second quality items; a measuring unit for measuring the first quality items; a first tank disposed at a front stage of the optical sorting unit in a conveyance path of the grains, in order to temporarily store the grains that should be supplied to the optical sorting unit; and a second tank disposed between the optical sorting unit and the measuring unit the conveyance path of the grains, in order to temporarily store the first quality items that should be supplied to the measuring unit. The throw-in port, the optical sorting unit and the measuring unit are arranged in a line in the order of the throw-in port, the optical sorting unit and the measuring unit, in a first direction. The chute is arranged such that an upstream end of the chute is positioned on a measuring unit side, whereas a downstream end of the chute is arranged so as to be positioned on a throw-in port side, in the first direction. The first tank and the second tank are disposed on an upstream side out the upstream side and the downstream side of the chute, in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
