Title:
SLIPPAGE CONTROLLER FOR TORQUE CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3635946
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of shocks caused by excessively small slippage and the generation of sudden slipping even if a torque estimated value used for control at the time of starting slippage control is deviated from an actual value.
SOLUTION: When it is determined that FLAG is 10 (slippage control area) in (41) and it is determined that the FLAG becomes 10 for the first time (immediately after the starting of slippage control) in (42), based on the current state of a torque converter determined in (43), determination is made as to whether the starting of the slippage control is from a converter state or from a lockup state. If it is from the converter state, an initial value (ωSLPCO (C/V) is set for a slip rotation command ωSLPC in (44). If it is from the lockup state, an initial value (ωSLPCO (L/U) is set for ωSLPC in (45). Then, slippage control is started in (46). The ωSLPCO (C/V) is set such that actual slip rotation is larger than permissible lower limit slip rotation generating no shocks, the ωSLPCO (U/L) is set such that actual slip rotation is 0, and even if a torque estimated value is deviated from an actual value at the time of starting the slippage control, the generation of shocks because of excessively small slippage or the occurrence of sudden slipping is prevented.
