Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rusting by the abrasive seat water, of a liner mounted between a pipe of a liquid transporting ship and a frame in expansion and contraction of the pipe caused by the change of a temperature.
SOLUTION: When the pipe 2 mounted to the exposure of a ship by an U band 4 is expanded and contracted by a temperature of the liquid flowing in the pipe and a temperature of the outside air, or when a hull is bent or twisted by sagging or hogging, a thumb tack-shaped liner formed by molding a hard resin is used as the liner 3 mounted between the pipe 3 and the frame 1 to reduce a contact area between the thumb tack-shaped liner 3 and the pipe 2 and to minimize the frictional resistance, and allowed to follow the pipe 2, further a contact area between the thumb tack-shaped liner 3 and the frame is minimized, a projection for fixing is formed on a lower face of the liner 3, and a hole 7 for fitting the projection is also used as a drilled hole 7 for discharging the sea water impregnated between the liner 3 and the frame 2.
