Abstract:
To provide a sliding bearing capable of suppressing the generation of seizure between an end portion of a sliding surface and a rotary shaft.SOLUTION: A sliding bearing 10 has sliding surfaces 12a and 12b opposite to a rotary shaft 2 and sliding with respect to the rotary shaft. The sliding surface has a first end portion 13 that is an area from one end in an axial direction of the sliding bearing toward the other end in the axial direction by a predetermined distance (d1), a second end portion 14 from the other end toward one end by a predetermined distance (d2), and a center portion 15 that is an area between the first end portion and the second end portion. At least one of the first end portion and the second end portion has hardness lower than that of the center portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
