Abstract:
To improve the compatibility of a soft metal layer of a slide member while maintaining the fatigue resistance of it.SOLUTION: The inventive slide member has a soft metal layer with laminated soft metal crystals. When the soft metal layer is divided into 5 equal parts in the thickness direction to form virtual divided areas, the average grain size of crystal particles present in a first divided area including the surface of the soft metal layer is equal to or lower than 2/3 of the average grain size of crystal particles present in the other 2-5 divided areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
