Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a cleaning mechanism by employing simple structure.SOLUTION: An in-line type sleeve valve 10 is provided in which: inflow piping 1 is connected to one end of a cylindrical valve cage 11 and outflow piping 2 is connected to the other end; a cylinder 12 with the closed inflow piping side is provided in and coaxially with the valve cage 11; a sleeve valve element 13 with a porous peripheral wall 13c is movably provided in and coaxially with the cylinder; and the sliding surface between the valve cage and the sleeve valve element provides valve seats 14a and 14b. Grooves 20 are formed in the sliding surface over the entire circumference, and a discharge hole 21 is provided for communicating the grooves with the outside of the valve cage. If foreign matter is clogged in the porous body and smooth communication cannot be obtained, the sleeve valve element 13 is moved, so that porous portion 13c of the valve element 13 faces the grooves, consequently water a which has entered the sleeve valve element via a gap 16 flows to the groove side from the porous portion 13c and flows out to the outside of the valve cage. By this outflow, each hole is back-washed and the clogging is eliminated. The sleeve valve element is moved by the rotation of a valve stem 15 via a first link 17a and a second link 17b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
