Abstract:
To prevent an elongated pin from being deformed when it is press-fitted into a pin hole formed in a sintered body without making hard the provision and control of a press-fit tolerance.
This sintered part comprises a sintered body 11. The sintered body has a pin hole 12 of non-circular shape in cross section. The elongated pin 13 having a cross section generally similar to that of the pin hole is press-fitted into the pin hole. A projection 14 is formed circumferentially midway on each of two hole surfaces 12b, 12b at the positions symmetric with respect to the center of the pin hole 12. A press-fit tolerance is provided to the projections 14, and the pin 13 is press-fitted only at the projection formed part.
