Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single shoe type brake device that uses an auxiliary device configured to prevent a brake shoe from jumping.SOLUTION: A single shoe type brake device includes: a brake shoe that is a single brake shoe having an integrated "U" shape in side view, is configured to form an open ring shape, is configured to integrate with a single body and is configured to have a separation region on one side of the brake shoe; a cylinder that is a cylinder installed in the separation region and is configured to provide external force; and a friction material that is a friction material coupled to an outer peripheral surface of the brake shoe and is installed to selectively come into contact with a brake drum when the brake shoe is extended. A friction coefficient of the friction material is substantially lower than that of a general brake friction material, and a brake coefficient is approximately the same as that of a brake device having two shoes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
