Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005338336
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver halide photosensitive material capable of obtaining a stable color tone of an area gradation image whether a developing solution is a new solution or a running solution when the photosensitive material is allowed to stand in an apparatus or the like, then subjected to area gradation exposure, and developed.

The silver halide photosensitive material has a multilayer silver halide emulsion layer on a support, wherein at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers is a silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one coupler selected from a Y coupler, an M coupler and a C coupler and silver halide grains, ≥95 mol% of which are silver chloride, wherein the Y coupler is a compound represented by formula (A), and wherein silver halide grains chemically sensitized with a compound represented by formula (I) are contained in at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer. The silver halide photosensitive material is subjected to area gradation exposure.
