To provide a shaft fastening member, a shaft fastening method, and a recording apparatus providing the shaft fastening member capable of surely and easily fastening a shaft on a shaft supporting member.

In the shaft fastening member 30 fastening the shaft 203d on the shaft supporting member 204, the shaft fastening member is provided with a shaft inserting portion 32 in which the shaft is inserted, a first fixing portion 31 and second fixing portion 33 integrally formed on both sides of the shaft inserting portion respectively and fixed the shaft supporting member respectively. Upon fixing each fixing portion on the shaft supporting member respectively, the shaft is fixed in the shaft inserting portion by pushing to the shaft supporting member in a radial direction. Thus, the shaft is fixed on the shaft supporting member by uniform pushing force so that the shaft is pushed in an inserted state to the shaft inserting portion by the first and second fixing portions in an inserted state.
