To provide a separator capable of efficiently separating suspended materials from gas, and to provide liquid fractionation equipment capable of efficiently fractionating a component contained in liquid to be treated from the liquid using the separator.
The separator 120 constituting a part of the liquid fractionation equipment 100 separates and recovers mist MI produced by an ultrasonic atomizer 10 from air. The separator 120 is provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 140 and a flow path member 130 having a pipe part which demarcates an air inlet port 131N including mist MI, an air discharge port 131T and an in-pipe space 131I connecting both. By means of aerial ultrasonic waves AU radiated from the pipe part 131 in accordance with ultrasonic vibrations excited in the pipe part 131 by the ultrasonic vibrator 140, an ultrasound standing wave field SS is formed in the in-pipe space 131I.
