Abstract:
To provide a solid lubrication type self-aligning roller bearing whose frictional torque is small and which is excellent in performance of high speed rotation.
A lubricating composition 9 solidified by mixing ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefine with grease is filled only into a space between the finger 8 of a cage 7 which is arranged between two rows of rollers 6 and projected in a clearance between both side roller rows and an outer ring 4, thereby contact parts of the solidified lubricating composition 9 with an inner ring 2, the outer ring 4 and rollers 6 are reduced. Hereby, torque and exothermic action in these contact parts, caused by sliding friction, can be reduced to a large extent.
