Abstract:
To provide means that increases the electrochemical processing speed for recovery, shorten a recovery time in the secondary battery system, and extends the life of a system in a secondary battery system using a lithium-ion battery that has a mechanism to restore the battery performance.SOLUTION: A secondary battery system includes a lithium ion secondary battery and a charge/discharge control device 550 that controls charging/discharging of the lithium ion secondary battery. The charge/discharge control device executes one of heating control for raising the temperature of the lithium-ion secondary battery to a temperature TR equal to or above a preset threshold, replenishment control for replenishing positive or negative electrode of the lithium ion secondary battery with lithium ions in a state in which the temperature of the lithium-ion secondary battery is raised to the temperature TR equal to or above the threshold, and overdischarge control for putting the lithium ion secondary battery in an overdischarge state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
