Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seal mechanism for a power transmission device which is constituted to prevent leakage of oil without improving size precision of each part so much.
CONSTITUTION: A seal mechanism for a power transmission device is constituted to prevent leakage of oil through a gap between the driven gear 31 and the retianer of a power transmission device to transmit a power between a casing 29 and a retainer by boosting working oil in oil pressure generatilng chambers A-H by means of the driven gear 31 and the ring gear 32 according to a difference in rotation between the casing 29 and the retainer. In the seal mechanism for the power transmission device, the driven gear 31 is rotatably supported by means of a recessed part 30c formed in the retainer.
