Abstract:
To provide a seal carrier ring that can highly accurately regulate or meter the volumetric flow rate through a valve opening by opening and closing the valve opening.SOLUTION: A basic body (4) has a first side, on which a seal carrier ring (1), in a state completely mounted on a valve housing, abuts on the valve housing. The seal carrier ring (1), when arranged on the basic body (4), is provided with at least one seal ring (8) that is formed of an elastic member surrounding a throughflow opening (3). A casing wall (9) is arranged on the basic body (4) and at least partially surrounds the throughflow opening (3) and, on a second side (10) of the basic body (4) opposite the first side, protrudes from the basic body (4) and has a larger inside diameter (11) than the seal ring (8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
