To install simply a scattering protective cover onto a main shaft with various diameter.SOLUTION: A scattering protective cover 8 includes an installation part 1 installed on a main shaft 92 by sandwiching a part of an outer peripheral surface 925 in the axial direction of the main shaft 92 of a bush cutter 9, and a cover body part 2 attached to the main shaft 92 through the installation part 1. The installation part 1 has an inner peripheral surface 125 pressing onto the outer peripheral surface 925 of the main shaft 92, and the inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface 125 is constituted switchably in multiple steps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
