Abstract:
To provide a saddle riding type vehicle capable of suppressing operation feeling reduction of an operator by suppressing changes in behavior of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A saddle riding type vehicle includes an engine E to drive a driving wheel 16 and an auxiliary brake 40 attached to an output shaft 34 of a speed change gear 32 of the engine E. The auxiliary brake brakes the vehicle by decelerating the engine E. The auxiliary brake 40 is, for example, an electromagnetic brake. The auxiliary brake 40 is subjected to a braking action at timing different from that of a braking command by an operator, on the basis of a vehicle body state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
