Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positioning accuracy of sleeves.SOLUTION: A rotation transmission mechanism 1 includes cam rings 41, 42, 43 to be rotated integrally with an input shaft 2, sleeves 51, 52, 53 provided movable on the outer peripheries of the cam rings 41, 42, 43 in the direction of a rotation axis Xa and rotatable integrally with the cam rings 41, 42, 43 with engagement protrusions 55 engaged with cam grooves 45 in the outer peripheries of the cam rings 41, 42, 43, and transmission gears (a first-speed gear 21, a second-speed gear 22, and a third-speed gear 23) rotatably supported on the rotation axis Xa, where the sleeves 51, 52, 53 are displaced in the direction of the rotation axis Xa for engaging/disengaging the transmission gears with/from tooth parts 26, 56 provided on the sleeves to select rotation transmission/non-transmission between the input shaft 2 and each of the transmission gears. On one of the mutually opposite faces of the cam grooves 45 and the engagement protrusions 55, retractable balls B are provided, and on the other, inclination parts 46, 47 are provided through which the balls B resiliently engage therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
