PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive rotation controller for a rotary actuator for large output by enabling the controller to control the rotation of a motor to thereby accurately control the rotation speed or rotation angle of a hydraulic motor.
CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pump 1 is connected to a drive source 2 and driven thereby. A hydraulic rotary servo valve 4 is set on a hydraulic motor 3 while an output shaft 30 of a hydraulic motor 3 is connected to a hydraulic rotary servo valve 4 which is connected to an output shaft 50 of a motor 5 and driven through it. The motor 5 is connected to a controller 6 and controlled thereby in its rotation speed and rotation angle. Discharged oil from the pump 1 is fed to the motor 3 via a circuit 7 and the valve 4 and returned to an oil tank 9 via a circuit 8.
