Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine capable of reducing leakage of magnetic flux in an axial direction by magnets.SOLUTION: A magnetic gear 10a has an inner gear 14, a center ring disposed at an outer peripheral side of the inner gear 14, and an outer gear disposed at an outer peripheral side of the center ring. The inner gear 14 has an inner yoke 14a, a plurality of inner magnets 14b arranged in a circumferential direction of the inner yoke 14a, and a plurality of suppression magnets 17 disposed on an axial end face of the inner yoke 14a. The inner yoke 14a is provided with a plurality of magnetic pole portions 14d held by a pair of inner magnets 14b in which the same polarities are adjacent to each other in a direction opposed to the circumferential direction. The suppression magnets 17 are axially magnetized to cover end faces of the magnetic pole portions 14d. The pair of inner magnets 14b holding the suppression magnets 17 covering the magnetic pole portions 14d and the magnetic pole portions 14d are directed to the magnetic pole portions 14d at the same polarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
