PURPOSE: To prevent leak of a coolant, by a method wherein counter balancers are secured on a shaft so as to rotate togetherwith balancer chambers, and a shaft hole, extended through the shaft, is formed between a cylinder chamber and the balancer chambers, and a leak preventing plate is situated axially of the shaft.
CONSTITUTION: In a compression mechanism part 21, upper and lower bearings 2 and 3 are mounted to a cylinder 1 through leak preventing plates 15a and 15b, each having a hole through which a shaft 5 is extended. A roller 4 is contained in a cylinder chamber 1a, and counter balancers 14a and 14b are secured within the balancer chambers 13a and 13b on the shaft 5. This constitution enables the counter balancers to be located in the vicinity of a shaft crank part in a state to reduce leak of a coolant past the end surface of the roller.
