Abstract:
To reduce an axial dimension of a rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 10 includes an inner ring 11, an outer ring 12, a plurality of balls 13 disposed between the inner ring 11 and the outer ring 12, and an annular retainer 14 for retaining the plurality of balls 13 at intervals in a circumferential direction. The retainer 14 has a plurality of pocket portions 15 having shapes along the balls 13 and housing the balls 13, in a circumferential direction, and has a plurality of connecting portions 16 for connecting the adjacent pocket portions 15, 15. The pocket portion 15 has an outer plane 46a along a surface orthogonal to a retainer center line C at one side in an axial direction, and is provided with a hole 47a for fitting an end 13a at axial one side, of the ball 13 therein and exposing the same at the outer plane 46a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
