Abstract:
To provide a clearance adjustment method for a roller mill, which can shorten a period of roller mill stop time and which enables measurement of a clearance between a grinding table and a pressure roller to be performed with a high degree of accuracy, and the roller mill.SOLUTION: In a method for adjusting a clearance of a roller mill 1 that grinds a grinding material 2 by making it pass through the clearance between a rotating grinding table 8 and a pressure roller 10, an abrasion loss or a surface position of each of the grinding table and the pressure roller is determined by noncontact measuring apparatuses 21 and 22, and a clearance interval between the grinding table and the pressure roller is adjusted depending on the determined abrasion loss or surface position of each of them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
