Abstract:
To provide a roller bearing capable of inhibiting a cage or a roller from being broken when the roller is incorporated, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a roller bearing, firstly, a cage is prepared. A plurality of rollers for being incorporated in the cage are prepared. The plurality of rollers are incorporated in the cage. A step of preparing the cage includes a step of thermally treating a cage body part constituting the cage. The step of thermally treating the cage body part is carried out in a state in which the plurality of rollers are incorporated in the cage body part, after the plurality of rollers are incorporated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
