To secure safety property in the surrounding of a lifting device for alleviating lifting up/down of a brown rice storage bag and facilitate inspection and repair.SOLUTION: A rice milling facility comprises a machinery room M which has a client room K where a user enters and exits a building and a rice milling machine 5, performs rice milling processing on brown rice put into a put-in hopper 2 by the rice milling machine 5, and discharges the milled rice from the rice milling machine 5 to a milled rice tank 7. A lifting device 9 is provided on a client room side position facing the put-in hopper 2. The lifting device 9 comprises: a mount table 14; a lifting tool 16 for lifting up/down the mount table 14; a support body 17 for supporting a lower part of the lifting tool 16; and a protective cover 18 covering the surrounding of the lifting tool 16. The protective cover 18 comprises a plurality of intermediate cover members 18m1, 18m2, and the plurality of intermediate cover members 18m1, 18m2 are coupled in a vertical direction by a pin member 29 which is detachably arranged on a vertical long hole 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
