Abstract:
To provide a free type reverse input cutoff clutch capable of shortening the axial size, suppressing the number of components, and stably idling an output member when rotation toque is reversely input to the output member, while actualizing a construction to easily achieve a much smaller size.SOLUTION: A reverse input cutoff clutch 1 includes an output member 3 having a pressed face 23 on the inner peripheral face, an input member 4 having a cam part 30 arranged on the radial inside of the pressed face 23, and arranged coaxially with the pressed face 23, an engagement element 5 having a pair of pressing faces 41 each opposed to the pressed face 23 and isolated from each other in the circumferential direction, and a force imparting member 6 for imparting force to the engagement element 5 to separate each of the pair of pressing faces 41 from the pressed face 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
