Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-type reverse input cutoff clutch in which designing, manufacturing and assembling of its components can be easily carried out and its light weight formation is also facilitated.SOLUTION: When an input torque is applied to a first input shaft 1 and a second input shaft 2, a cam receiver 5 slidably fitted at an inner periphery of a housing 7 is integrally rotated with the first input shaft 1, an eccentric cam 4 is integrally rotated with the second input shaft 2, a spacer 6 is revolved and turned between the cam receiver 5 and the eccentric cam 4, an output shaft 3 is integrally rotated with the eccentric cam 4. As to a reverse input torque, the spacer 6 pushed by the eccentric cam 4 integral with the output shaft 3 is restricted by the housing 7 against its revolving and turning motion through the cam receiver 5, thereby the output shaft 3 is not rotated. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to eliminate any complex machining work when the conventional components are made, to decrease the number of components, employ resin and the like as raw material for the components locking against a reverse input torque, and attain a light weight formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
