Abstract:
To provide a retainer for a radial roller bearing capable of reducing stirring resistance of a lubricant in the bearing by discharging excessive lubricant to the outside of the bearing while securing lubrication performance, and a radial roller bearing.SOLUTION: A retainer 20 for a radial roller bearing has a pair of annular rim portions 21, and a plurality of pillar portions 22 disposed at prescribed intervals in a circumferential direction in a state of connecting the pair of rim portions 21. Peripheral grooves 31 extending in a circumferential direction, are formed on axial center portions of outer peripheral surfaces of the pillar portions 22, pairs of inclined grooves 32 extending while inclined to an axial outer side from the peripheral grooves 31 are formed on outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of rim portions 21 and the pillar portions 22, and the pair of inclined grooves 32 are communicated with the peripheral grooves 31 at axial inner ends 32a, and opened to axial outer end surfaces of the rim portions 21 at axial outer ends 32b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
