Abstract:
To provide a resin cam gear of lower absorptivity and to provide a cam gear excellent in wear resistance and durability after use for a long period of time.
In the resin cam gear used for an engine, the resin cam gear is formed out of material adding 5-20 weight parts of modified polyolefin to 100 weight parts of polyamide. Advantages of the material are indicated by material 2 and material 6 in table 7. From total evaluation, high performance in absorptivity, durability and wear resistance is expected by adding 5-20 weight parts of modified polyolefin to 100 weight parts of polyamide, and the resin cam gear suitable for an engine can be provided.
