To improve the bonding strength and uniformity a connecting part between segment members and improve water tightness in a regeneration pipe installed by connecting the segment members in the circumferential direction and in the tube length direction.
The outside surfaces of end plates 104, 105, which are the circumferential connecting surfaces of the segment members 1 to be connected, are stuck to each other through an adhesive sheet 8 formed by impregnating a sheet with an adhesive, and the segment members 1 are connected to each other by fastening of a bolt 6 and a nut 7, whereby the outer surfaces of the end plates 104, 105 are overall bonded to each other. Similarly the connecting surfaces in the tube length direction are substantially overall bonded to each other through a bonding sheet. This bonding can improve the bonding strength of a mutual connecting part between the segment members 1 (a joint part of the connecting surfaces) and make the strength uniform. Further, the connecting part is sealed with the bonding sheet extending over the whole surface of the connecting surface, thereby remarkably improving water tightness.
