PURPOSE: To constitute the variable speed driver of a blower for evaporator of an input shaft, a fluid coupling, and a plurality output shafts and, at the same time, to make the assemblage, adjustment, operation, maintenance, etc., of the driver easier by devising such a means of installing an impeller, turbine, etc., to the fluid coupling, or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A refrigeration system 10 for transportation is provided with an evaporator 18, a blower 22 for evaporator, a condenser 16, a blower 20 for condenser, and a refrigerant compressor 12 driven by means of an internal combustion engine 24. The variable speed driver 32 of the blower 22 for evaporator is constituted of an input shaft 58, a fluid coupling 34, and a plurality of output shafts. The input shaft 58 is connected to the output shaft 30 of the engine 24. The fluid coupling 34, on the other hand, is provided with an impeller connected to the input shaft 58, a turbine connected to the first output shaft of the driver 32, a housing 44 surrounding the impeller and turbine, and an oil inlet 46 and an oil outlet formed through the housing 44. In addition, the output shafts of the driver 32 are respectively connected to the blowers 20 and 22.
