Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the disassembly and assembly of a cylinder block and the maintenance of components incorporated in the cylinder block without reducing the strength of the cylinder block.SOLUTION: A cylinder block 48 constituting a hydraulic machine 40 (a hydraulic pump 22 or a hydraulic motor 28) is divided into an upper portion 67a and a lower portion 67b. The lower portion 67b is formed integrally with or connected to an end plate 60. The upper portion 67a is screwed on the end plate 60 with bolts 84. The end plate 60 is provided with arms 80a and 80b, and the lower portion 67b is provided with arms 82a and 82b. The arms 80a, 80b, 82a, and 82b are supported by a hydraulic support mechanism 86.
