Abstract:
To provide a pump tappet having a long service life.
The pump tappet 21 includes: a shaft 22; a roller bearing 31 arranged on the outer diameter side of the shaft 22 and rotatably supported on the shaft 22; and a case 23 holding the shaft 22 and the roller bearing 31. The carbon content of a material used for the case 23 is 0.15-0.7 wt.%.
